Shedding Allotments

Sweet exhibition at the Garden Museum of photographs by Damian Walker of sheds at Ealing Dean Gardens, the oldest surviving allotments which started in 1832.

There was a lovely eclectic collection of sheds from an old Anderson shelter to a Wendy house. Each allotment has a similar patch of land and the show highlights how different things can happen in a similar space. Each shed is both functional and decorative.

The pictures created a lovely image of community.
