Open Heart Surgery

Interesting exhibition of contemporary art from London in an old office building on the Strand being used by the Moving Museum, a travelling program of contemporary art exhibitions in different cities across the world. I should have read more about this before I went as I assumed it was going to be quite small and began making note son each artist thinking there would only be about 4 or 5 but turned a corner and realized it was huge! It has a slight feel of being a mini Biennale, a wonderful hotch potch of art. There was so much that you could linger over what you liked and just move on from what you weren’t so sure about.   The space was fascinating to as it was the first floor of a stripped out office building so it had a derelict feel to it and many of the artists had used the space to shape the art.
